Glaze for Ham Steaks
Ham steaks are fairly inexpensive to buy  – that’s why I like them!  Here is a ham glaze that I often use – especially when grilling.  It can also be used when cooking ham in the oven or on the stove top.

I like this because it only uses 3 ingredients - and I almost always have them at home.

2 tablespoons apricot preserves
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
2 tablespoons honey

Mix these 3 ingredients in a bowl then spread over the ham.  You can increase the ingredients depending on how many ham steaks you are making.  I'm pretty sure I doubled the recipe on these two.  (I have to admit I'm not good at measuring - I just guess a lot of the time - and go by taste!)  The glaze will start to carmalize and have a wonderful flavor!
