If we could break free from our narrow minded vision,

And do away with our personal agendas,

And look to find the strengths in each other,

We could build an awesome world together.

 

If we could take away our bitter thoughts,

Of how the world hasn’t treated us right,

And looks for ways to make it better,

We could build an awesome world together.

 

If we could learn to sacrifice a little more,

And expect less to be handed out at our door,

We would actually be saving – isn’t that cleaver,

And we could build an awesome world together.

 

If we go back to the principles this country was founded,

And put God first to keep us grounded,

Oh what miracles we could share with each other,

And we could build an awesome world together.

 

It only takes one to speak out and go the extra length,

To stop the endless arguing and build on each other’s strengths.

Then one idea will turn into many, to carry on forever,

And we will build an awesome world together!
