Barley - it does a body good!
Barley is one of the healthiest foods you can find. It’s packed with Vitamin B, very high in fiber and an all-around good food choice. You can find barley at just about any grocery store and I usually buy it in a box like this:
I’ll be posting some really good soup recipes using barley. The recipe below has lots of great spices that make the soup really flavorful. And today I'm making a barley soup using a roast and cooked in the slow cooker. My kitchen smells devine right now! I will be posting that recipe later on, so be on the look out!
